Garden border fence – The construction of a border around your garden is a clear and designated boundary, which allows you to grow plants within their confines and use it as a line that children should not pass. Whether in the form of a garden fence, simple wood border or brick edge, the options are endless. One of the most common types, a simple wood border, is easy to build and serves its purpose well. You do not need many materials and it can be done in just a few hours.
Dig a straight ditch around the garden border with the shovel. Make sure the trench is a little wider than the plywood so you can comfortably fit the wood in the trench. Also, make sure that the trench is as deep as one-third the depth of the plywood. Place the plywood in the trench. Two thirds of the wood should be stuck out of the ground when put in the trench.

Fill your garden with dirt and start planting. The fence will require little maintenance, but periodically make sure that the 2 inches by 4 inches of wood remains firm on the ground.
